Warranty & Care
Review Dogma warranty coverage, care guidance, service expectations, and how to request support when needed.
Dogma warranty coverage is defined by collection and model. Because our watches differ in production method, movement architecture, and service structure, warranty periods may vary across Monograph, Arc, Prologue, Interludes, and Atelier releases.
The applicable warranty for each watch is stated on its product page and in its accompanying documentation.
1) Warranty coverage by collection
Monograph
Monograph watches include a 24-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use, beginning on the date of delivery.
Arc
Arc watches include a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use, beginning on the date of delivery.
Prologue
Warranty coverage for Prologue models may vary by watch and movement. The applicable term is stated on the relevant product page and in the accompanying documentation.
Interludes
Interlude warranty coverage may vary by release. The applicable term is stated on the relevant product page and in the accompanying documentation.
Atelier (limited prototypes)
Atelier pieces are covered by a 12-month limited warranty for movement function and assembly-related defects under normal use, beginning on the date of delivery.
Because Atelier pieces are prototype or small-batch studio objects, minor variations in finishing, printing, alignment, texture, or hand-applied details may be present and are considered part of the nature of the piece.
2) What the warranty covers
Dogma’s limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the stated warranty period.
If a covered issue is confirmed, Dogma will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, adjustment, replacement of a defective component, or another reasonable corrective measure.
3) What the warranty does not cover
- damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper handling
- damage caused by unauthorized opening, modification, or repair
- cosmetic wear from regular use, including scratches, dents, strap wear, coating wear, and surface marks
- damage resulting from water intrusion where the watch has been used outside its stated water-resistance limits
- damage caused by shock, severe impact, or magnetic exposure
- routine maintenance, regulation, or normal service intervals
- consumable components such as straps, unless a manufacturing defect is present at delivery
4) How to request warranty service
If you believe your watch has a warranty issue, contact Dogma with:
- your name and contact information
- your order number or proof of purchase
- the watch model and reference
- a description of the issue
- clear photographs or video when helpful
Dogma will review the request and advise on the next step, including shipping instructions if inspection is required.
Do not send a watch for service until Dogma confirms the return process.
5) Service after the warranty period
Mechanical watches require periodic care over time. Outside the warranty period, Dogma may offer paid service, assessment, repair coordination, or guidance depending on the model and availability of parts.
Service options, pricing, and timelines may vary by watch and by the work required.
6) Care and handling
To help preserve your watch:
- avoid shocks, drops, and severe vibration
- keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields
- rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure, if the model is rated for such use
- avoid operating the crown or pushers in water unless the watch is expressly designed for it
- store the watch in a dry environment when not in use
- use a soft cloth for routine cleaning
