FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most often about Dogma collections, ordering, warranty, and support.

What is the difference between Monograph, Arc, and Prologue?

Monograph releases are place-shaped limited editions produced in small batches. Each Monograph begins with a city and is offered through a release-specific process.
Arc is Dogma’s ongoing line of always-available references. Arc pieces are built in small batches and restocked as capacity allows.
Prologue is reserved for Studio Studies—concept-led work that sits between exploration and production.

What does joining the waitlist mean?

Waitlist means the watch is not yet open for reservation or purchase. Joining the waitlist allows collectors to receive release updates, reservation timing, and confirmed delivery details as the release approaches.

A waitlist signup does not require payment and does not guarantee allocation. It is the first step for collectors who want early access to a specific release.

How does a Monograph release work?

Monograph releases are announced in advance and offered during a defined ordering window or allocation process. Each product page explains the current status clearly, including whether the watch is in waitlist, reservation, pre-order, or delivery phase.
When applicable, Dogma publishes the release timing, estimated delivery range, production capacity, and any deposit or allocation rules before orders open.

Do you ship internationally?

Dogma intends to ship internationally where practical and legally supported. Shipping availability may vary by destination and by release.

If international shipping is available for a given release, the applicable options will be shown at checkout or stated on the product page.

Are duties and taxes included?

Prices shown on the site do not necessarily include local duties, VAT, GST, or import taxes outside the destination country. These charges, when applicable, are typically collected by your carrier or local customs authority.

Dogma cannot control duties or taxes charged by your country.

What warranty comes with my watch?

Warranty coverage depends on the collection and the specific release. As a baseline: Monograph includes a 24-month limited warrantyArc includes a 5-year limited warrantyAtelier prototypes include a 12-month limited warrantyfor movement/assembly-related defects. Prologue and Interludes vary by release. Full details are listed on the Warranty & Care page.

Can I return a watch?

Return eligibility depends on the collection type and the way the watch was offered.

Arc pieces may be eligible for a return window if stated in the Shipping & Returns policy. Monograph releases, limited editions, commissioned work, and other restricted-run pieces may be final sale except where required by law or where a defect is covered under warranty.

Please review the Shipping & Returns page before ordering.

How do I contact Dogma?

For questions about availability, sizing, ordering, service, or support, use the contact form or email Dogma directly through the contact details listed on the Contact page.

Dogma replies as promptly as possible, typically within 2–3 business days.

How often should a mechanical watch be serviced?

Mechanical watches benefit from periodic service. As a general guideline, Dogma recommends a full service every 3–5 years depending on wear, environment, and use.

If your watch shows unusual timing behavior, moisture under the crystal, or any functional issue, contact Dogma before continuing to wear it.

Are your watches limited?

Some are, and some are not.
Monograph releases are typically limited and documented. Arc references are designed as ongoing pieces made in small batches. PrologueInterludes, and Atelier prototypes follow their own production logic depending on the project.
